Taco Tuesday Meets Its Perfect Mate: The Brigantine Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita
There are about a zillion ways to celebrate Taco Tuesday in San Diego but most can’t boast the relaxed atmosphere of the newly renovated Brigantine Restaurants. Long-time local favorite hangs, the six “Brig” Seafood and Oyster Bar Restaurants, and their six sister restaurants Miguels, are the kind of places that you go specifically to order your favorite meal be it Taco Tuesday or any day. It is rare to stray away from your favorite on the menu despite all the yum there is to chose from.
I recently decided to, at the very least, branch out quaff-wise and stumbled into the beyond compare CUCUMBER JALAPENO MARGARITA!!
This dizzyingly delicious blend of Herradura Silver Tequila, Cointreau and citrus juices is amplified by the addition of super fresh cucumber and jalapeño slices.
The combination makes for a can’t put down, ice cold cocktail that is both refreshing, spicy and tart. Once you try this you will crave it!
And as usual for the Brigantine, it is my NEW favorite and I can’t image getting anything else there… and so it goes…..
