Fun Things To Do This Weekend

This is the big one! They are “bringin Pomona to Arizona!” Celebrating their 5th year at the Arizona State Fairgrounds as the largest classic car swap meet and car corral in Arizona. This free to attend event is a must for all antique and classic car enthusiasts. At the Todd Harding and Son Phoenix Car Swap Meet you will find hundreds of vendors selling tons of hard to find car parts and accessories. The car corral area of the swap meet features hundreds of classic unique and collectible cars and trucks for show or sale. Cars ranging from project with lots of potential to show quality vehicles.

The 7th annual Arizona Bach Festival begins on Friday with an organ recital by Christopher Houlihan on the Visser organ at All Saints’ Episcopal Church.

Each year, the festival shares with others how Native American heritage is celebrated through the arts. There will be active teaching, demonstrating and presentations throughout the festival. This year special efforts will be made to share information about the role pictures and symbols play in creating and understanding Native American art.
