What you’ll see: Rescues, food manufacturers, treats, toys, and pet products! Not to mention constant demos of agility through learning about chinchillas.  Then, stick around for our main event on Saturday 1pm – Magic Mike D & Sunday 1pm Jim Nesci’s Cold Blooded Creatures.

CHICAGO COMEDY FESTIVAL

The New 400 Theater

Chicago Comedy Film Festival is committed to bringing independent comedy to the screen and to support comedy filmmaking as a vital and influential art form. Comedy allows us to explore subject matters in a way that no other genre can or will.

RIVER NORTH WHISKEY FESTIVAL

River North

Join fellow whiskey-lovers as we taste a variety of whiskeys, bourbons and scotches. Tickets include a samplings of whiskeys, bourbons and scotches from around the world! We will have over 50 varieties to choose from.

CHARITABLE CHILI COOK-OFF

The Arts of Life

The Arts of Life, a Chicagoland non-profit arts studio for adults with and without disabilities, will once again showcase the area’s best and tastiest chili at their 7th annual Charitable Chili Cook-Off. Like the last six successful years, the cook-off will be at 2010 W Carroll Ave and this year, attendants should expect even more fun and yum! Over 20 entrants from around the Chicagoland area will provide a variety of chilies including vegetarian friendly entries.

POLISH FILM FESTIVAL IN AMERICA

Multiple Venues

The PFFA is the most extensive annual showcase of Polish cinema outside of Poland. Hailed by the New York Times as one of the best programs promoting European film in the States, called a “Chicago Success Story’ by the Chicago Tribune and ranked as the best foreign film festival in Chicago by New City Magazine, the PFFA remains one of the largest and oldest film events in the Midwest.
