Be part of an annual autumn event that celebrates the community’s heritage. Under a large heated tent, enjoy live musical entertainment ranging from classic German Oompa music to classic rock, along with German beer and cuisine. Family-friendly activities will be available on Saturday.

| APPLE FEST
Lincoln Square
Apple Fest is a long standing tradition in Lincoln Square bringing the community together to celebrate the beginning of fall. Dozens of vendors participate in the event yearly, selling everything from candy apples to scarves and hats. Stop by and pick up a fresh baked apple pie, a bushel of apples, hot apple cider, or even an apple pizza. Bring the kids along and hang out in the Kid Zone where children’s activities will occur throughout the day. Or relax in Giddings Plaza and listen to the wonderful sounds of local musicians. There’s sure to be something for everyone at Apple Fest!

FASHION FOCUS CHICAGO

Chicago’s fashion week will shine a spotlight on Chicago’s fashion industry with a citywide celebration. The nine-day event will feature a shopping and runway events with fashion businesses downtown and in various neighborhoods. Other highlights include: youth-based professional development workshops with Latino Fashion Week; Style Bias, a runway program presented through a collaboration.

Chicago Avenue
The West Town Art Walk is an annual event celebrating art in all forms—visual, musical, culinary, and otherwise—within shops along Chicago Avenue (between Milwaukee Ave and Western Ave. Check in and get a pin at Head Quarters: Dovetail). During this Friday & Saturday event, attendees can enjoy visual art, music, and fashion from Chicago artists all showcased within West Town’s shops, businesses, restaurants, and bars.
