ENCINITAS STREET FAIR
Downtown Encinitas
Encinitas 101 MainStreet hosts one of the season’s biggest festivals this weekend: the 32nd Annual Encinitas Street Fair, sponsored by Tri-City Medical Center. Hwy 101 in Downtown Encinitas will be closed from D to J Streets in order to accommodate over 450 booths, four live music stages, a Beer Garden, a Kids Zone, a Dog Zone, and 40,000-50,000 visitors per day. Cyclists can use free bike valets at each end. And from the south end (J Street), fair goers can take a free ride along the coast on an Electra bike or in an electric Smart car. Come enjoy tons of fun in this classic So-Cal beach town!

MISSION FEDERAL ARTWALK
Little Italy
The largest fine art festival in Southern California, celebrates its 31st year with a 15-block celebration in San Diego’s charming Little Italy district. Founded by local artists, Mission Federal ArtWalk has become a showcase for established and emerging artists and the ultimate event for art aficionados and casual collectors.

ADAMS AVENUE UNPLUGGED
Adams Avenue
Adams Avenue Unplugged takes place along a two-mile stretch of Adams Avenue, from University Heights on the West through Normal Heights, and into parts of Kensington to the East. The event will feature 150 live musical performances staged inside restaurants, bars, coffee houses and galleries lining the neighborhood and on four community stages evenly spread out throughout the district. Being able to pair the Avenue’s unique dining and drinking establishments, each with their own special ambiances and selections, with free musical performances, makes Adams Avenue the place to be on the last weekend of April. The AABA hopes to treat musical aficionados and foodies to the rich neighborhood culture.

SAN DIEGO SHAKA FEST
Crown Point, Mission Bay
The San Diego Shaka Fest is the Fusion of Hawaiian Culture, Arts, & Athletics! So bring the entire family to this super fun and family oriented event which includes a Stand Up Paddle race open to adult and youth racers, the Keiki Heihei Waʻa (Youth only Hawaiian canoe regatta), SUP & Health Wellness Expo, Classic Woody Car exhibit, Hoʻomau Hula O Nā Keiki – Keiki Hula Competition, lots of your favorite boutique and food vendors, and da kine Hawaiian entertainment.
