THE MARVEL EXPERIENCE
Del Mar Fairgrounds
Now you can join forces with Marvel’s mightiest Heroes on a mission to save the planet. San Diego Comic fans, as S.H.I.E.L.D.’s newest recruit, you’ll swing with Spider-Man, smash with Hulk, and fly with Iron Man in next generation hyper-reality. Your adventure at the Del Mar Fairgrounds will take you through seven colossal Domes as you train for a climactic battle against Hydra and its army of evil Adaptoids. Along the way, you’ll experience the world’s only 360-degree, 3-D stereoscopic theater, and a state-of-the-art motion ride.

Poinsettia Park
The annual event raises funds for families with children facing life-threatening illnesses, diseases and disorders. Not only is it a great cause, but this event has something for everyone – a competitive, chip-timed race for runners, a fun park loop for walkers, and a Kids 1K Fun Run. In addition, there will be bands, cheerleaders, a DJ, the Kid Ventures Kids Zone, Navy Seal jumpers coming from the sky, and, of course, you will hear inspiring stories of the amazing work that the Mitchell Thorp Foundation is doing right here in San Diego.
