Gaslamp Quarter

Two marching bands with cheer units representing the two college football teams at the Poinsettia Bowl will parade in the Gaslamp Quarter. They will begin at opposite locations and meet midway at Market Street to play their music together and then proceed onward to each other’s beginning location.

Kearny Mesa Recreation Park

Please come and join the 39th Annual San Diego Hmong New Year Celebration. This three day festivities will be held at the Kearny Mesa Recreation Park. This annual celebration is funded entirely by donations from the businesses and citizen of the Hmong San Diego county. Donations are highly appreciated. Admission to the New Year at the park is free of charge and it is open to the general public.
