SummerFest is a nationally-recognized chamber music festival featuring over 81 world-class artists and ensembles performing concerts. Since its inception in 1986, SummerFest has welcomed over 650 renowned artists and ensembles, four talented artistic directors and nearly a quarter of a million audience members at venues in San Diego and over the airwaves nationwide.

SAN DIEGO JUNIOR LIFEGUARD
OCEAN FESTIVAL
Mission Beach
The San Diego Junior Lifeguard Program offers youth an opportunity to learn from professional lifeguards. The JG program’s curriculum includes: ocean and beach safety, lifesaving techniques and procedures, first aid, development of open water swimming skills, body surfing, body boarding, surfing, snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, beach games, and competition events.
