The San Diego Spring Home/Garden Show has hundreds of different exhibits including home improvement products, furnishings, decorating & remodeling ideas, garden displays, flower and landscaping… plus art and pets.

Every year from early March to early May, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch blossom into a spectacular sea of brightly colored ranunculus flowers. Visitors can view and tour the fields in Carlsbad.

The event is designed for children and their parents to have a fun day at Balboa Park. It’s all about literacy. Each child that participates in the 1-mile run/walk will receive a book of their choice, a medal, and a t-shirt. Entertaining music of children’s songs will play throughout the event.

Residents of Ocean Beach can enjoy a kite festival that is recognized as the oldest kite festival in the United States. The event offers musical entertainment, carnival rides, home-made crafts, and light refreshments. This event is in conjunction with the “Ocean Beach Kite Parade”.

An Italian-themed cycling expo in Little Italy will have booths offering a variety of cycling and fitness gear. Live musical entertainment, cocktails, food vendors, and family activities make up the expo. This event is in conjunction with the “Gran Fondo Colnago” a cycling classic.
