BERGHOFF OKTOBERFEST

Don’t miss the largest, longest-running Oktoberfest in Chicago! Make your plans now to join in for the 28th annual Berghoff Oktoberfest. Berghoff Oktoberfest in Chicago has something special in store for everyone! The celebration starts with traditional German musical performances and featured nightly shows with some of Chicago’s favorite bands.
Wednesday – Friday, September 11th – 13th.
This event takes place from 11am – 9pm.

WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL CHICAGO
Citywide
The citywide, 11-day festival will feature more than 70 free performances in more than 20 venues from acclaimed musicians and groups representing 34 countries from around the globe. The ambitious line-up includes five concerts in Millennium Park, an all-night celebration of Indian music at the Chicago Cultural Center and performances from Malian artists as part of the Festival au Desert – Caravan for Peace helping to make the 2013 festival one of the largest and longest running to date.
Thursday – Sunday, September 12th – 22nd.

LAKEVIEW EAST FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS
Along Broadway – Belmont to Hawthorne
The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts showcases more than 175 juried artists featuring world class original paintings, sculpture, photography, furniture, jewelry and more. In addition to the art on sale, the Festival features live demonstrations and entertainment stages where some of Chicago’s favorite musicians play throughout the weekend.
Saturday, September 14th from 10am – 6pm.
Sunday, September 15th from 10am – 5pm.

NORTH SIDE IRISH FEST
4000 North Lincoln Avenue
North Side Irish Fest will celebrate the rich Irish heritage of the Chicago neighborhood. Food will be offered Irish cuisine will be brought to a new level, with local sports dishing out their best interpretation of the classics. For those of you with a bigger appetite, there will be an eating contest each day, so don’t forget your elastic pants!
Friday, September 13th from 5pm – 10pm.
Saturday, September 14th from 12pm – 10pm.
Sunday, September 15th from 12pm – 9pm.

WATERLEAF FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL
Waterleaf Restaurant Grounds
The Waterleaf Food and Wine Festival presented by the Daily Herald features 100-plus uncommon wines for this second annual event. In the patio and gardens areas adjacent to Waterleaf restaurant in Glen Ellyn, the festival will feature wines specifically selected by the small, family-owned distributor Heritage Wine Company.

This event takes place from 3pm – 6pm.
